Philippe de Limburg Stirum Principal

Philippe de Limburg Stirum is a Principal in H.I.G.’s London office and a senior member of the Capital Markets team, focusing on the European Private Equity business.

Philippe is responsible for all aspects of the financing process for both new platforms and existing portfolio companies, including credit structuring and syndication. As part of his role, Philippe also helps to manage H.I.G.’s broader capital markets strategy and lender relationships.

He has more than 11 years of capital markets and investing experience. Prior to joining H.I.G., he spent over 7 years at Alcentra where he was an Executive Director in the Direct Lending platform, responsible for capital markets origination and execution for financial sponsors clients. Prior to Alcentra, Philippe spent 3 years at Deutsche Bank in Leveraged Finance.

Philippe also served as an officer in the Belgian Air Force, after receiving a M.Sc. in Mathematical Engineering from the Royal Military Academy of Belgium.
